The name Hurtz has stood for high-quality processing of aluminium in two product
areas for many decades:

The production of quality frames for screen printing and the manufacture of
storage systems (pallets, tops, containers) which ensure optimum protection from
contamination.

Today our company has developed into the largest manufacturer of precision screen printing frames domestically and abroad. Fast delivery times are our daily

For our second product line - the production of aluminium pallets, tops, sceleton boxes and containers for customers from the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical
and food industry - all products meet GMP and HACCP regulations. Manufacturing
customised solutions through individual arrangement with our partners is a
matter of course for us!

		COMPANY HISTORY

2010:		Certificate as technician welding company according to DIN EN ISO 3834-2 for all welding technologies with all-embracing demands (MIG, MAG, WIG) (since September) Acquisition of the second new CNC processing center: MAZAK VTC 300 C II

2009:		Acquisition of the first new CNC processing center: MAZAK VTC 300 C II

2008:		ISO 9001:2000-CERTIFICATE



2000's:		Expansion of the aluminium pallets product line, through the investment of personnel and capital Development and patenting of a new frame edge connection for very large aluminium frames - the HURTZ CORNER LOCK SYSTEM Expansion of the companies own profile line with slope profiles Ice cans are still manufactured even today (in small quantities)

1990's:		Takeover of a complete additional product line - pallets, containers, sceleton boxes and special constructions made of aluminium

1980's:		Frame production further expanded with the production of stainless steel printing frames The product portfolio was expanded and production of screen printing frames for CD printing (currently a completely new and innovative medium).

1970's:		Sale of the company by the Hurtz family to the current partners Concentration of production in the area of aluminium processing Steel printing frames remain in the product line Development and patenting of slope profiles made of aluminium for the serigraph printing area

1960's:		Change of the business segment (among other things due to global technical progress)- the turnover of ice cans is exceeded by the turnover of template frameworks

1950's:		Beginning of production of screen printing frames made of steel for textile and silk-screen printing and continued production of ice cans



1948:		Following the currency reform there was a sales increase. Hurtz becomes the largest special factory for the production of ice cans which were exported worldwide.



1945:		Manufacturing was only partially resumed after World War II due to a shortage of raw materials Temporary resumption of production of pad stitch boxes for gardening companies (1 pad stitch - model size 60x 33 x 6 cm cost 4.30 RM)



1925:		Company founder Anton Hurtz dies - takeover by his sons Gottfried and Hermann Hurtz

1920:		Business relocated to Breyell (now Nettetal)
1908:		Foundation of Hurtz by the company namesake Anton Hurtz as a "Factory for for brewery and refrigeration machine needs". The company manufactured ice cans, ice can frames, shake flippers, finned pipes made of steel and copper, cooling coils and fermenters Users/customers: Ice factories, breweries, fish industry, chemical industry, food industry
