2011 were conceived the Jumbo profile Slope 240/235 mm with an overall height
of 80 mm, to make pressures on windowpanes up to 12 m lengths possible.

HURTZ frame-coding brings colour
into the screen printing

Multicoloured screenprinting frames of the market leader HURTZ provide for
permanent marking, identification and offer a simple assortment for clear
storekeeping.

HURTZ succeeded this by the production of coloured anodized aluminum
screenprinting frames, to simplify visually crucially the marking and identification
procedure for screenprinting forms. This marking offers the possibility to identify
the screenprinting frames at each time of the production- and logisticprocess
and facilitates crucially a sorting in the camp.

Costly marking procedures such as marking lacquer creation or the use of multi-
colour fabric adhesives can be void in the future and replace by the different color
design of the screenprinting frames permanently and economically.

The printing-form production is preserved by the renouncement of chemically
applied markings and gets hereby more surely, saves the environment and
reduces also time and costs.

At the moment the modern screenprinter can choose between five colours for
the identification.

RFID

For the radio frequency identification (RFID) Hurtz delopped new possibilities of the
attachment of passive tags (transponders).
It is necessary to use passive high frequency (HF) tags with a frequency of
13.56 MHz and a reader calibration width of up to 10 cm. These tags are disposal
and can be fixed with a special milling, non-adhesive in new frames.
Also an exchange of the tags is later at any time possible by this special milling.
In old existing frames it is possible for Hurtz, to fix tags later on by using solvent-
based two component- or UV- adhesive.
It is absolutely necessary, to achieve an optical first identification of the frames.
Here Hurtz has the possibility via engraving to apply each desired numbering or
every other recognition designs.
